Ingredients
3 tortillas
1 portion of red salsa and 1 portion of green salsa. Our suggested Salsas Carlota combinations for this dish:
- Salsa Azteca (extra hot) and Salsa Tacuba (hot)
- Salsa Chipotle (medium) and Salsa Alteña (hot)
- Salsa Habanera (extra hot) and Salsa Tacuba (hot)
or
- Salsa Habanera (extra hot) and Salsa Alteña (hot)
2 eggs
1/3 80 ml cup of vegetable oil
Preparation
- Gently fry the corn tortillas in a pan, then once fried, spread them out on a plate
- Separately, fry the eggs in vegetable oil (make sure not to break the yolk when breaking the egg shell)
- Once fried, remove the eggs from the frying pan and place each on top of the fried tortillas
- Pour salsas abundantly over the eggs and the tortillas: one half with red sauce and the other half with green sauce
*Can be served with fried beans. Yum!
